Joint Action

Joint Action: Essays in honour of John Shotter, 1st Edition, convenes fifteen international scholars across multiple disciplines to evaluate John Shotter's academic contributions. Published in the Explorations in Social Psychology series, the book explores how his perspective addresses emerging issues in twenty-first-century social inquiry. Shotter's writings span more than forty years and consistently dispute traditional scientific assumptions across varied subjects.

As the first publication to evaluate the significance of Shotter's scholarship across the contemporary social sciences, the volume investigates foundational theoretical themes. Coverage highlights major areas of debate, including social constructionism and democratic practice.

The collection aims to assist researchers and postgraduate students across related disciplines who want to assess the utility and practical relevance of Shotter's thought for their own investigations.
