Race policy and multiracial Americans

Race policy and multiracial Americans examines how multiracial populations influence race policies across the United States. The text investigates areas where established policy lags behind the demographic growth of multiracial people and considers how these measures can serve to advance racial justice.

Employing a critical mixed race perspective, the work considers which discrimination policies should cover multiracial individuals. It also examines questions surrounding affirmative action eligibility and addresses how to better understand the health and education needs of multiracial Americans.

The volume provides relevant study for students in sociology, political science, and public policy, while offering analysis for policymakers and readers interested in race relations and social justice.
